چکیده
Background: Anemia is one of the leading causes mortality and morbidity in children. The etiology anemia multifactorial including nutritional anemia, hemolytic aplastic storage disorders, hematological malignancies, secondary to some chronic diseases. Methods: study an observational study. Physical signs severe were looked patients attending outpatient department or admitted hospital. Children with hemoglobin levels <7 g/dl age group 6 months years recruited aim look for non-nutritional children Kashmir. Results: Out 192 children, 97 (50.52%) females 95 (49.48%) males, a male, female ratio around 1:1. A total 147 (76.56%) our having 45 (23.44%) non causes. Hemolytic leukemias should ruled out while evaluating pancytopenia. Bone marrow failure syndrome, disorders skeletal anomalies.

Effects of Nutritional variables in children with iron deficiency anemia
Introduction: Iron deficiency (ID) is the most prevalent nutritional disorder in the world. The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is about 9% in toddlers, 9-11% in adolescent girls and less than 1% in teenage boys. IDA presents when there is not sufficient iron for haemoglobin synthesis. In particular it has negative effects on the behavior, cognitive performance, immune system and phy...
متن کاملThe Prevalence and Causes of Nutritional Iron Deficiency Anemia
This review will be confined to a discussion of iron deficiency anemia as it affects adult populations. The problem of iron deficiency in infancy and childhood was the subject of a previous workshop in this series (1) and, together with the problem of iron balance in pregnancy and lactation, is covered in later chapters. The causes of iron deficiency have previously been extensively reviewed (2...

متن کاملCardiovascular function in children with severe anemia.
We investigated the hemodynamic status of seven children (aged 7 months to 14 years) with severe iron-deficiency anemia or anemia due to renal disease before and after the anemias were corrected by isovolumetric exchange transfusions. In the anemic state (Hb 1.9 to 3.8 g/100 ml) mean values for cardiac index were 7.71 L/min/m2, for heart rates 129/min, for stroke index 61.7 ml/m2, for diastolic...
